Daniel, Thomas Thomas Milton Daniel was born December 21, 1927 in Dallas, TX. He died April 26, 2014 of injuries sustained in a car accident. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, George and Clara Daniel; wife Anna Chase Daniel and brother Louis Daniel. He is survived by wife, Doris Fawcett Cooper Daniel, sons, John Daniel (Mary) and Tim Daniel, stepson Gerry Cooper (Brenda), stepdaughters Susan Boulden (Mike) and Kim Schnitker (James); sister-in-law Bettye Daniel; grandchildren, Alexander and Zoe Daniel; step grandchildren, Kate Cooper Walker (J. T.), Cara Cooper, Kristin Cooper Erspamer (Justin), Beth Boulden Warren (Zack), Emily Boulden Warth (Andrew), Sarah Boulden, Laura Schnitker, Andrew Schnitker, and Michael Schnitker; great grandchildren Addison Walker, Cooper and Charlotte Erspamer, Ethan and Zoe Warth, and Harriet Warren. Thomas was a lifetime resident of Garland, graduating from Garland High School in 1945 and from Texas A & M in 1949 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Engineering. He was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean War. Thomas worked at Southwest Equipment Company, became a Civil Engineer, and owned Garland Engineering. He loved going to coffee every morning, playing tennis, working in his garden, attending GHS class reunions, and being an active member of the Garland Lions' Club.He was a member, elder, and deacon of First Christian Church, Garland. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, April 29th from 6 - 8 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Garland, TX. A memorial service celebrating his life will be Wednesday, April 30th at 2 pm at First Christian Church, 115 S. Glenbrook Dr., Garland, TX 75040. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to First Christian Church of Garland.
