Lew, Timothy Benjamin Born in San Antonio, TX to Mon Ben & Chin Toy Lew, Young Timmy Lew was an avid outdoorsman, celebrated for his mischievous punnery, legendary smoked meats, sumptuous baklava & hearty appetite. He was active in church leadership & a generous friend to many. He attended Robert E. Lee High School & then The University of Texas at Austin, where he met his dazzling wife, Linda Chin Lew, with whom he is now joyfully reunited in the kingdom of Jesus Christ the liberating King. He was a dedicated employee of The Southland Corporation & Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. More recently, Tim enjoyed working among close friends for Matt's Rancho Martinez restaurants. His daughter, Nicole Elaine Lew, and his son, Christopher Adam Lew, will miss sprinting against him in footraces, cheering for the Longhorns, questing for the best creme brulee, cruising through crisp Alaskan waters with a lamb chop in each hand, & hugging his jolly belly. He is survived also by his siblings, Lili Soo Hoo of Los Angeles; Sonny Lew & Bobby Lew of San Antonio, TX; Ella Yee of Oakland, CA; Wing Lew of Houston, TX; & Walter Lew of Corpus Christi, TX. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 5-8pm at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral is Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11am at Christ the Redeemer (4125 Broadway Blvd, 75043).
