Emerson, William F. "Bill" Jr. 69, a resident of Irving for 38 years, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at his home. Born December 22, 1943 in Greenville, Texas, he was the son of William Frank Emerson, Sr. and Ruby Mae Cobb Emerson. He served in Vietnam in the United States Marine Corps. He graduated from Dallas Baptist College with a business degree in 1972. He married Stella Dennis June 28, 1974 in Dallas. He began his work career for H. L. Hunt as an accountant in the oil and gas department. He retired from the document storage industry in 2004. He was a member of Lover's Lane United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his parents and a sister, he is survived by his wife Stella of Irving; son Charles V. Emerson and wife Sarah of Euless; two grandsons, Liam Emerson and Connor Emerson; a brother Joseph Emerson of Dallas; adopted son David Anderson and his son Gage of Allen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the funeral home chapel
