Ziglar, Zig Zig Ziglar, age 86, of Plano, Texas passed away November 28, 2012. He was born November 6, 1926 in Coffee County, Alabama to John Silas Ziglar and Lila (Wescott) Ziglar. On November 26, 1946 Zig married Jean Abernathy in Columbia, South Carolina. He was a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church. Zig had a tremendous love for his family and friends, his greatest desire was for everyone to know the love of his Savior, Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife, Jean Ziglar of Plano, Texas; daughters, Cindy Ziglar Oates of Southlake, Texas, Julie Ziglar Norman and husband, Jim of Alvord, Texas; son, Tom Ziglar and wife, Chachis of Plano, Texas; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Suzan Ziglar Witmeyer; seven sisters and four brothers. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Prestonwood Baptist Church, Plano, Texas with Dr. Jack Graham officiating.
