NORFLEET, Bobby Gene age 75, of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Kettering Hospital. Bob was born on November 4, 1937 in Murl, KY, eldest child of the late Arnold and Ella (Roberts) Norfleet. As a young man, he worked construction with his uncle in Miamisburg before serving in the Air Force stationed in Colorado and England. At one time, he was very active with the Shriners organization. Bob was owner of the Norco Construction and Rental Companies from which he retired in 2011. Bob enjoyed country music and attending Bean Blossom Festivals. He was an avid fisherman on Lake Erie. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Leach) Norfleet whom he married July 26, 1995. Survivors also include his four children: Karen (Dan) Barnett, Curtis Norfleet, Jeff (Sharon) Norfleet, Tracy (James) Luoma; stepchildren: Danny (Angie) Powers, Tilford (Dee) Powers, Floyd Powers, Edward (Sandra) Medford & Sandra (Buck) Johnson, and Cynthia Wood. He leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 8 step grandchildren and 9 step-great grandchildren. Bob is also survived by 1 brother, Lawrence (Phyllis) Norfleet; 8 sisters: Ima (Donald) Stringer, Ava (Gene) Lawman, Joyce (Larry) Wright, Lynda (Glenn) Walker, Carolyn Stephens, Janie Norfleet, Janice (Tom) White & Margaret Blanton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Billie Davenport and grandson Marc Byrne. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gebhart -Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 E Linden Ave., Miamisburg, OH with the Rev. Jerry Peck officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Valley Memorial Gardens, Centerville, OH.
