KELLY, Clifton R. Age 60, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his father, George W. Kelly and sister, Joyce Heady. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diane; daughter Jennifer (Peanut) and Todd Griffin; and grandsons, Caleb and Aiden Griffin of Columbus, Ohio. He is also survived by his mother, Doris R. Kelly; sister, Janice (Rick) Kugler of White Oak, PA; his uncle Len (Sam) and aunt Joyce Oyler of Port Orange, FL; brother-in-law Jim Heady of South Pasadena, FL; nephews, TJ and Chris Graham, Michael and Derrick Kugler, and many great nephews, great nieces, friends, and his loving cat, Max who was always at his side. A member of Wesley United Methodist Church in White Oak, PA, he was a 1971 graduate of McKeesport High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and throughout his military career he worked on many projects beginning with the 91st Strategic Missile Wing, the Small ICBM Program, and ending with the B2 Stealth Bomber Program where he retired at the rank of Major. He was currently employed by OASIS LLC at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio where he was a Task Leader Program Manager. He was a proud Alumni of Penn State University where he earned one of many master degrees he achieved throughout the years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, coin collecting, playing poker, and spending time making wonderful memories with his grandsons. Visitation will be held 4-7:30 pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, with funeral service following at 7:30.
