ORSI, George E. "Bud" age 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by his family. He was born January 25, 1926 in Dayton, Ohio. Bud was a veteran of the Army Air Corps. He owned and operated the family business, Direct Mill Work in Dayton. He was a volunteer fireman and Trustee for Randolph Township. His love and passion was being the President of the American Bowling Conference. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and was able to name the players and do the stats, enjoying every game. Bud is survived by his grandson: George "Beau" (Tracy) Orsi, granddaughter: Nicole Orsi, daughter-in-law: Sharon (Paul) Noeth Miller, great granddaughters: Sierra, Zoe, Marissa and Macy. Bud is also survived by his special friend and companion: Rosita Barbee, longtime friends: Don (Patti) Weir and a host of friends and acquaintances who will miss his quick wit and charm. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years: Sue Orsi and son: George "Tom" Orsi. A celebration of Bud's life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood). The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton.
