FELMAN, H. Marvin age 88, of Dayton, passed away Friday March 28, 2014. Marvin was born October 12, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan to David and Eva Felman who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Edith Mayer Felman and his sister, Esther Acker. Marvin is survived by his wife of 20 years, Carol Denmark Felman, his daughters Judith Felman, Jan Felman and her husband Harvey Schwartz, Jyl Lynn Felman and her spouse, Lynne S. Brandon, grandson, Eric Felman Schwartz, step children, Dr. Scot Denmark and his wife Linda Denmark, Lisa Denmark and her husband Dan Flanagan, Dinah Denmark and her wife Alice Greene. Marvin was a graduate of Fairview High School, The Ohio State University with a B.A. in history and the Salmon P. Chase College of Law. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and attended flight preparatory school. After graduating from from college, Marvin took over his father's parking and real estate business in downtown Dayton. He believed in downtown Dayton and was devoted to its future through developing properties which would attract other businesses. Marvin also maintained a general law practice with emphasis on real estate. He was a voracious reader, enjoyed drawing, playing the piano as well as watching and playing sports. Marvin was committed to his family and his faith. Funeral service will be held Monday, 12 noon at the Beth Abraham Cemetery Chapel. 1817 West Schantz Avenue.
