OMOWALE, Kamau Z. A native of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly May 15, 2013 at his home in Los Angles Ca. A graduate of Dunbar High School 67, Ohio Univ. Cum Laude 71, Graduate Program Xavier, and International Government Studies thru Univ. Dayton. His career path included Co-Owner Madden Inc. Dayton, co-found National Assoc. Blacks in Criminal justice, Flight Attendant Pan Am Airlines, Fitness Trainer LA, CA, Office Manager Law Office OMelveney and Meyers LA, CA Retired from Director of Operations for the Law Offices OF Johnnie Cochran , Jr. LA, CA. A long time tennis player and physical fitness coach. He was a vegetarian with a holistic view of life. He competed in many Triathlons all over Southern CA for many years. He volunteered to counsel Vietnam Vets, prisoners and police officers. After his retirement, he studied visual communication, and photography at the time of his sudden heart attack. Preceded in death by parents William A., and Elizabeth G. Leigh. Survived by brothers William A. III (Sharon) and Bernard C. (Deborah) Leigh, half brother Jordan Worthom, nephews William IV, Bernard Jr., Kamau (his name sake) Leigh, step-nephews Carlton Holden, Aaron Jones. Family will receive visitors 11-1pm Wednesday May 14, 2014 at Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum. A memorial service 12:30-1pm
