News Death Notice
HERSEY, Louella age 86, of Dayton, passed away February 9, 2013. Born April 6, 1926 in Lexington, Kentucky and a resident of Dayton since 1955. She retired from General Motors after 20 years of service. Preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Hersey and Catharine White. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Marion Lightfoot of Dayton; sister, Della Smith of Lexington, KY; nephew, William F. Rankins (Marian) of Lawnside, NJ; niece, Gerri A. Washington of Lexington, KY; other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, February 15, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church, 2067 N. Gettysburg Ave. Rev. David I. Fox officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Visitation 9 am Friday at the church until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
