STEVENS, Melanie F. age 67 of Springboro, OH passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 with her daughters by her side. Originally from Brookville, OH, she eventually moved to St. Mary's, OH where she and her late husband, Dave built their dream home. She is survived by her daughters Jammie (Mike) Troxell of Springboro, OH, Tara (Joey) Stevens of Waxhaw, NC and Elizabeth (Paul) Kennell of London, OH. Proud grandmother to Trey Lloyd, Collin, Lincoln and Hayden Troxell and Benjamin, Baylor and Brecken Kennell. Also survived by Candy/Tim Salyer, Allen Salyer and Nicole Ebright. Mother-in-law Mary Stevens of Dayton, OH; brothers-in-law Glenn (Robin) Stevens of Bellbrook, OH, Chuck (Teri) Stevens of Centerville, OH, Glen Price of Lewisburg, OH along with many special nieces, nephews, other family and numerous friends. She is preceded in death by her parents James & Evelyn Davis, her loving husband of 28 years, Dave Stevens, sisters Bonnie Price and Barbara Hall and father-in-law Glendon Stevens. Melanie enjoyed many secretarial positions throughout her working career. She was a member of the South Shore Sportsman's Club in St. Mary's, OH and Loyal Order of The Moose #1473 in Celina, OH. She loved her bowling leagues and her domino's group. She was a huge Bengals and Buckeyes fan. Her dogs were like children to her. She cherished her life on the lake with Dave. Her friends meant the world to her, and they enjoyed many fun times together. She was a proud grandmother and her grandsons brought so much happiness to her life. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Anderson Funeral Home, 40 N. Main Street Springboro, OH 45066, with Pastor Steve Rudisill officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Dayton, or Animal Protections League of Mercer County, P.O.
