News Death Notice

ISBELL, Ronald Lee "Ron" "Izzy" 42, of Bellbrook, passed away Thursday October 31, 2013 at Kindred Hospital, Dayton. Ron was proud to be an American and proud that he served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps as an MP. He also worked as a job setter for DMax, Division of GM and was a member of the IUE-CAW Union. He thoroughly enjoyed writing novels and short stories and loved history, especially during the Greek and Roman era. Ron is survived by his daughter Julie Isbell of West Carrollton, parents Ken and Jackie Isbell of Xenia, two brothers Rick (Yvonne) of Columbus and John (Brooke) of Nashville, TN, fiance' Tami Ferguson of Kettering, three uncles John Siereveld (Kay), Richie Isbell, Thurman Isbell (Linda), and two aunts Robin Blackson and Danna Johnson (Marcus). A celebration of Ron's life will be held Thursday November 7th at 4:00 pm at CONNER & KOCH Funeral Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook (937-848-6651). Those who attend are encouraged to share a story about Ron. Pastor Phyllis Kennedy officiating. You may sign Ron's Book of Memories or send a condolence to the family at www.ConnerandKoch.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ronald Isbell Memorial Fund, c/o Wright Patt Credit Union, 88 Progress Dr., Xenia, OH 45385 or any other branch. Ron will always be lovingly remembered for his laughter and how he made others laugh.
