He served two years as a military policeman in the U. S. Army. He was a faithful employee of General Motors for 30 years and enjoyed his department 310 to the fullest. Anyone who knew him knew the love he had for his family, drawing, writing, running, westerns and "All That Jazz". Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Sr. and Mary June Richardson; sister, Sharon Williams; brother, Gregory Richardson. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 46 years, Dorothy Richardson ("that old stuck up Dorothy Ball", as he would say); children, Tarai Richardson Grigsby (Garey Jr.), Ronald W. Richardson Jr., and Tannis Richardson-Caldwell (Andrew); grandchild, Andrew Caldwell Jr. ("Pa-Pa's" scholastic athletic "wingman"); brothers, Clarence Jr. (Murline), Dale Sr. (Willa), Larry Sr. (Claudine) and Bradley Richardson, all of Dayton, Dennis Richardson of California; sister-in-law for life, Delbra Price; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to name. Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, January 27, 2014 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Evangelist J. E. Millerton officiating. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Visitation 9 am Monday at the funeral home until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
