HOBBS, Sharon Ann of Kettering, Ohio, born March 14, 1949, died suddenly at home. Sharon is survived by her mother, Elizabeth M. Hobbs; brother, Daniel G. Hobbs and sister-in-law, Irma Hobbs of Tracey, California; brother, Jack C. Hobbs and sister-in-law, Margaret Vallen Hobbs of Hingham, Massachusetts; sister, Joan Hobbs Smith and brother-in-law, Patrick Smith of Rockville, Maryland; nieces and nephews, Madeline J. Hobbs, Wylie H. Hobbs, Daniel J. Hobbs, Jennifer Hobbs, Barbara Hobbs, Daniel R. Hobbs, step-nieces, Anna Smith, Audra Smith, Katherine Mashikian and Kristen Mashikian. Sharon spent the last ten years of her life taking care of her father, Daniel J. Hobbs who died of Alzheimer's in 2007 and her mother. In her life, she enjoyed tennis, drama, crafts, and long walks on the beach. She was a voracious reader, a writer of children's stories and loved to watch a good movie.Sharon received a undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and a Masters in Advertising from Northwestern University. Sharon never missed an opportunity to pick up trinkets and gifts for her nieces and nephews, and made sure that everyone received a card on a special occasion. She will be dearly missed. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 12noon at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave, Kettering, OH with Father Tom Meyer officiating.
