Angie King White, 46, of Athens passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013, at her residence. She was born August 2, 1966 in Morgan County to Andrew Baugh King and Janice Black King. Services are Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 6 p.m. at Seven Mile Post Road Church with Joe Curtis and Andy John King speaking. Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. at the church. Graveside services will be Thursday, February 7, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Ripley Cemetery with Dwight Ridinger officiating. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
She was a member of Seven Mile Post Road Church and was a former elementary school teacher at Athens Elementary. She graduated from Clements High School and Athens College and also received her master's degree from Alabama A&M in Huntsville. She was very active in serving her church family and Clements High School.
She is survived by her husband, Ronnie White; sons, Austin White and Cole White; parents, Andy and Janice King; grandparents, Paul and Marjorie Black; sisters, Christy Tucker and husband, Scott, and Dru Shannon and husband, Adam; nieces, Kingsley Tucker, Breanna Grissett, Krista Gilliam, Kayla Gilliam, Addison Hurst; nephews, Justin Kephart, Lance Kephart, Jess Gilliam and Jonathan Bryant.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, John Thomas and Katherine King; and nephew, Baby Tucker.
Pallbearers are Justin Frey, Justin Kephart, Lance Kephart, Jess Gilliam, Barry Black and Tab Black.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Angie King White Scholarship Fund at First National Bank of Athens.
