SALISBURY-Daniel Edward Bradley, 54, of Salisbury passed away on Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of Doris Gootee Bradley of Salisbury and the late Stanley Henry Bradley.
He was employed in HVAC technician with the Wicomico County Board of Education for the past 11 years. He was previously employed with NASA at Wallops Island. His passion was local and US history and he was a member of several military history organizations including, US Liberty Ship John W. Brown, Baltimore, US Marine Corps Historical Company, Combat Caterers, Light Company I, First US Artillery, Ships Company USS Constellation, Baltimore, National Park Service Volunteer-in-Parks, Harpers Ferry and Fort McHenry.
He is also survived by his wife, Martha Hoppes Bradley; a step son Shawn R. Gravenor and his wife Becky and a step daughter Heather C. Gravenor, all of Salisbury; a brother Thomas S. Bradley and his wife Lorna; a niece, Michelle L. Bradley and a nephew Edward E. Bradley, all of Leesburg, Va.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Wicomico Memorial Park. Rev. John Pouncy will officiate.
