Dominick Raymond Raffaele

Salisbury-Dominick Raymond Raffaele, 88, of Salisbury, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late John Raffaele and Bridget Labua Raffaele.

He was employed by the US Army for 31 years, retiring in 1976. He enjoyed playing the slots and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Maria Rose Esposito Raffaele; 3 children, Bridget M. Bellia (Vinny) of Salisbury, John B. Raffaele (Patricia) of Brooklyn, NY and Louise Raffaele (fiancée, John Frontera) of Salisbury; 10 grandchildren, Joe (Amanda), Vanessa, Tania (Chris), Lauren (Rob), Dominick, Maria, Dina, Samantha, Amanda (Kyle) and Chelsea; 11 great grandchildren, Michael, Sara, Ryan, Caden, Brylee, Bella, Giulio, Aurora, Adriana, Mia and Alexia; and 2 brothers, Peter Raffaele of Brooklyn and Angelo Raffaele (Joan) of Las Vegas, NV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Bart, Paul, Sal and John Raffaele; and 2 sisters, Grace Pecora and Patrina Raffaele.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury. There will be a visitation on Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Holloway Funeral Home. Interment will be at 1:00 pm on Monday at Eastern Shore Maryland Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock.
