Salisbury-Carlton "Donald" Jones, 85, of Salisbury died Monday, May 12, 2014 at Berlin Nursing Home. Born in Salisbury he was the son of the late Carlton Jones and Blanche Jones.
Don retired from Campbell Soup Company after many years as the Supervisor of Security. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. An avid baseball and softball fan and coach, Don was the co-founder of the Eastern Shore Baseball Hall of Fame.
He is survived by three children, Sharon Revel, Donna (Bob) Mulkey, Connie Rae Jones; grandchildren, Nicholas and Geoffrey Schimelfening; great-grandchildren, Cory and Tyler Schimelfening; sister, Leona (Leon) Weidema; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister, Lois Purcell; and daughter, Bonnie Sue Adkins.
Per Don's request no formal services will be held.
