Reverend Ralph Jackson

Princess Anne -Rev. Ralph Jackson went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 29, 2014. He was born in Venton, Maryland. On November 26, 1933 to the late Harrison F. Maddox and Iva Mae (Jones ) Madddox.

A Korean War Veteran, Rev. Jackson retired after 27 years as Pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Dublin, Maryland.

Besides his parents, Pastor Jackson was preceded in death by his lovely wife Rev. Sarah Jackson and a brother Oliver Maddox.

Rev. Jackson was the oldest and leaves fond memories with 6 sisters and 5 brother; Mary (Oliver) Hall Alpaso, TX Maddox, Carolyn ( Earl) Copeland, and Geraldine Maddox of Philadelphia PA., Doris (Oliver) Hearn, and Ruby M. Handy, of Princess Ann, Randolph (Lovey) Maddox-Aberdeen, Maryland, Omar (Marie) Maddox - Orlando , Fl, Alton (Patricia) Maddox , Charles Annette Maddox and William ( Burdenia ) Maddox, all of Princess Anne, Maryland, brother and sister-in-law, Leon ( Helen ) and Winfield (Donna) Leatherbury of Westover, Maryland; John ( Ruth) Leatherbury of Eden, Maryland, David ( Bernetta) Leatherbury of Princess Anne, Maryland; Clarence ( Pam) Leathbury of Newport New, Virginia, Mary ( Charles) Smith of Arlington, Virginia and a dear friend Davenport of Fruitland, Maryland.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Faith Christian Center- Broadway St, Fruitland, MD. A viewing will be held one hour prior to service and Friday, February 7, from 6-8pm at Bennie Smith funeral home in Princess Anne.
