Earl "Bud" Shores

Earl W. Shores "Bud", 76, of Newark Delaware, passed away on September 4th peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Earl was born and raised in Fort Wayne Indiana, graduate of Central H.S., class of 1955. He was a beloved husband, father and friend. His family came first in sacrifices of his heart, his time, and his labor. Earl retired after 30 years working the assembly line at the Chrysler Newark plant providing for his family. He was also a Combat Veteran; Gunnery Sergeant of Marines, serving two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of both the General W.W. Atterbury Post 3420 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Joseph B. Stahl Post 30 of the American Legion. Earl was an ardent Phillies fan and fisherman. He is survived by his wife Margaret (Becky), his two sons William and James, his daughter Rebecca Lynn and his five grandchildren: Daniel, Sara, Anna, Easton and Mason. His family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at Heartland Hospice.
