Paul F. King, Jr.

The son of the late Paul F. King and Mary Bennett King was born on November 5, 1929 in Wilmington, DE at Homeopathic Hospital. He was raised in Brookland Terrace and attended Marshallton School. He graduated from Conrad High School in 1947 and attended the University of Delaware but graduated from Goldey Beacom College with a degree in business.

Paul has worked for Hercules doing office work, Chrysler in payroll, Bond doing bread delivery, Philadelphia Inquirer where he was a distribution manager and eventually retired from Chrysler in 1994 after 30 years on the production line.

Paul married the late Florence Clark on April 14, 1951. He also served in the military during the Korean War and was stationed in Fort Stewart, Georgia, and Fort Meade, MD.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Patricia Schultz and her husband Richard, son Paul King and wife Vanessa, grandchildren Kara, Rich, Zach, Noah and Elliott, brother Philip King and wife Marilyn and nephews Peter and Flynn. The family would like to thank Gisele, Marilyn, Kathy and Lou McCann with Griswold Home Care and his team at Vitas. You all are such special people.

A viewing will be held at Beeson Funeral Home on Thursday April 25 from 6-8pm followed by a funeral service at 8pm. Burial will be private.
