FRANK DAVIS - JUNE 6, 1920 TO APRIL 9, 2013
The Guest Book is expired.
Passed peacefully at Mountain View Manor, Delta. Lovingly remembered by his daughters Sherry (Bill), Linda (George) and son, Bob, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He is greatly missed. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lillian in April 2000 and his daughter, Fran in 1966.
Born in Melfort, Saskatchewan, Frank was deeply connected to the prairies throughout his life. He was a veteran of World War II and served for five years in the RCAF Squadron 226, much of that time overseas. Following the war he worked in sales and, in 1952, joined Sterling Winthrop where he worked for 32 years, retiring in 1984 as Manager of Sales for Western Canada.
Frank lived independently in his own home until the last few months of his life. He was devoted to his family and grandchildren. He was well read and maintained an ongoing interest in world affairs, sports, art and nature, especially birds.
No service by request. A private family gathering has been arranged. Donations in memory of Frank may be made to Delta Hospital Foundation, 5800 Mountain View Blvd., Delta, BC V4K 3V6.
