Nicolosi, Alphonse "Al"

Rochester: Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at age 81. Predeceased by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Matroniano) Nicolosi; seven brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his children, Cynthia (Michael) Laudico, Lynne (Ziggy) Kostadinov, Janine (Skip) DeLorme, Salvatore (D'Nese) Nicolosi of TN; grandchildren, Elaine, Adrienne (Greg), Jaklina, Matthew, Nicolas, Samantha, Jenna, Raymond, and Amanda; great grandson, Brendon; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mary Nicolosi, Ann Matroniano, Anthony and Josephine Matroniano, Salvatore and Jessie Matroniano, Peter and Marge Matroniano, Mary Marsh; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Al was a retiree of the US Postal Service and an Army Veteran of the Korean War where he was awarded the Purple Heart.

Friends may call MONDAY from 3-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Tuesday morning, October 15, friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:15 in St. Theodore's Church. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe directed to Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250 in his memory.
