Saeva (Masters); daughters, Sandra and son-in-law David Markussen; Maureen and son-in-law Michael Weiss and grandchildren, Jeremiah and Audrey; Rebecca and son-in-law Anthony Barone and grandchildren, Benjamin and Allison. He graduated from No. 11 Grammar School and East High School in Rochester, Bucknell University, (B. S. in Chemistry), and The University of Buffalo (Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry). He then spent a postdoctoral year at Princeton University before accepting a Chemistry research position with the Xerox Corporation. Frank was extremely proud of his daughters and grandchildren as well as his contributions to the scientific literature and to Kodak. He thanks his scientific colleagues as well as his golf and tennis friends for helping him keep intellectually and physically healthy. His love for the pursuit of scientific understanding was only surpassed by his love for his wife, daughters and their families. His basic life philosophy was simply to always try his best and be kind to others.
