Rochester: The loving husband of Rosemarie, passed away on March 12, 2014 after a long illness. A World War II veteran, Gerald worked in the dairy business and later with Amtrak. An avid handyman, he was frequently found repairing or building something for friends and family. In his retirement he volunteered his time as a member of the Grease Paint Clown Alley, and traveled throughout the country and overseas. Gerald was a long time train buff and voracious reader who enjoyed listening to classical music and decorating cakes. The true love of his life was Rosemarie, his wife of 64 years, and the family he raised with her. In addition to Rosemarie, Gerald is survived by his children Barbara, Joseph and Stephen along with five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
