Alberta, Canada: Died at age 89 years, on February 27, 2012, in Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA.

Former Rochester area resident and Eastman Kodak Research Laboratories chemist from 1950-1982.

Ham radio operator, sailor (Rochester Canoe Club), skier, linguist, music lover, world traveler.

Jack earned a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Alberta, completing post-graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin and the University of Illinois, before being hired by Kodak, where he spent all of his working career, becoming a Senior Division Head.

Survived by estranged wife, Helen Quigley Williams, of Pittsford, and their children: Leland T. Williams (Tracy Powell) of Pittsford, Mark T. Williams (Robert Monaghan) of New York City, Julie (Albert) Meder of Pittsburgh, PA, Janet Williams (John Barbaccia) of Pittsford, Jack L.R. (Angie) Williams, Jr., of Richmond, VA, and 14 grandchildren. Also survived by long-term significant other, Leona Pritchard of Namao, Alberta, CANADA, who faithfully gave Jack great care and comfort during his last days.
