Batavia: 91, peacefully passed at the NYS Veterans Home at Batavia on July 11th, surrounded by his loving family.
Born 10/13/1922 in Saratoga Springs, NY to F. Leonard and Isabella McGregor Ottman, Mr. Ottman lived a full life enjoying time with his family. He will be lovingly remembered as a caring husband, father, grandfather and proud WWII veteran. His love of cars, bicycling, and road racing blessed his life with wonderful memories and cherished friendships.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Ottman of Batavia; his sons Thomas (Melissa) of CT, Terrence (Lori) Cummins of MI, Eric (Ann) Cummins of GA, Colin (Ann) of Batavia, Nigel (Gillian) of Memphis, NY, and his grandchildren Todd, Keith, Sommer, Donovan, Scott and Ellie and great grandchildren Nathaniel and Nicholas. He is predeceased by his son Todd W. Ottman, who passed while defending his country in Vietnam.
Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Jim's life at a memorial service on July 19th, 11am at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 6188 Main Rd. Stafford, NY.
