Long, John F.

Brighton/St. Augustine, FL: In Rochester, on July 11, 2014. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 51 years, Mary Jean, and daughter, Elizabeth Anne. He is survived by his daughter, Celinda (Donald) Townsley; his son, Thomas S. (Karen) Long; his grandchildren, Sarah (Michael) Drago and Joseph (Vanessa) Long; great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Hayden, Nailyn and Amelia; his brother, Joseph (Edythe) Long; also nieces and nephews.

John was a Korean War Army Veteran, co-owned Brighton-Pittsford Home Services in the Sixties & Seventies with his friend Ken Moffitt, & operated his own painting business, was employed at the original Bilt Rite Chase Pitken store, & served for 30 years with the Brighton Fire Dept. as a volunteer and paid professional.
