Palmyra: Age 84, surrounded by his loving family, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 after a long courageous battle with Wegener's Glomerulonephritis, a debilitating kidney disease. Kenneth was pre-deceased by his loving, devoted wife, and best friend, Gladys L. Fox with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Pre-deceased also by his Mother, Amelia (Hall) Fox, Father Kenneth L., Step Mother, Mabel (Orbaker) and his Sister, Annabelle Cunningham. Loving Father of six children: five sons; twins Kenneth (Kathryn) and Thomas (April Gleason), Richard (Rosemarie), Timothy (Marjana), Daniel (Julie Duthoy): one daughter, Kristine. Twelve grandchildren: Kenneth Jr., Jessica, Luke, Kimberly, Kelly, Thomas, TJ, Tanner, Hunter, Michael, & Keegan; Twelve great-grandchildren; Caiton, Bailey, Morgan, Nicolas, Derek, Gabriella, Rylee, Eli, Ilona, Natalie, & Zoe. Sister, Betty (Jack) Smith; Sister-in-laws; Helen & Jeanne Lucas. Many nieces, nephews, and long time friends. Ken served in the Army during the Korean War and was a retired Union Carpenter with Rochester's Local # 85. He had been employed by LeChase Construction and was a carpenter for over 45 years. Ken was loved, admired, and respected by all who knew him. He was a loving and caring Husband, Father, and Friend. Calling hours to be held on Friday, February 21st from 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm at Robert L. Yost Funeral Home Inc., 123 W. Main St., Palmyra NY. Memorial Service at 3pm on Saturday, February 22nd at Cross Creek Church 3700 State Route 31, Palmyra NY. Private burial for family at Farmington Friends Cemetery to be scheduled at a later day.
