Leary, Richard J.

Brighton: March 31, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kathleen E. Leary; sons, Martin (Monika) Leary, Michael (Julie) Leary, Matthew (Mimi) Leary of CA; daughter, Jennifer Leary; grandchildren, Antonio, Alexandra, Drew, Ian, Maggie, Hadley, Andrew, Alan, Alexander; great-grandson Christopher. He is predeceased by his brother, James B. Leary; survived by sisters-in-law, Carol Leary of Long Island, Mary Jane Schleicher of Erie PA; brother-in-law Jim (MaryAnn) Toohey of Erie PA; nieces and nephews.

Dick was a graduate of Cathedral Prep and Gannon College in Erie, PA, and a graduate of the University of Rochester. He served in the Army from 1953-55, and was employed at Eastman Kodak for 30 years in Finance and Corporate Development, with 5 years spent in London.

Dick and Kathleen enjoyed skiing for many years, at ski resorts around the world.

Friends may call Wednesday, 2-4, 6-8 at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.). A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, 10 am at Coleman Memorial Chapel of St. John Fisher College.
