Pittsford: June 20, 2014. Born on January 8, 1927 in Rochester, NY to John Christian Otto and Janet Sargent Otto of Arnhem, Holland and Greenoch, Scotland, respectively. Predeceased by his sons, Steven Sargent and John Gregory Otto; and brother, Kenneth Otto. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Bareham Otto; children, Barbara (Joseph) Bedard, Susan (Douglas) Christensen, and Douglas (Tracey) Otto; grandchildren, Jacqueline, Stephen and Madeline Bedard, Kathryn, Erin and Douglas Christensen, Jordan, Megan, Gabrielle and Isabelle Otto; sisters, Janet Gilkeson and Elinor (Dr. Hobart) Lerner; brothers, John and Douglas (Louise) Otto; sister-in-law, Virginia Otto; several nieces and nephews.

Stanley was a Sergeant in the United States Army-Air Force from 1944 until 1947. He served in the Pacific Theater/Philippines as an aerial photographer. He graduated from the University of Rochester in 1950. He was a Certified Public Accountant with private and public accounting firms, including Arthur Andersen and Co., for 17 years before becoming employed by Eber Bros. Wine & Liquor Corp. as its Secretary/Treasurer. He was also President of Mullen and Gunn, Inc. in Buffalo, NY and Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of Rochester Liquor Corporation of Rochester, NY. In addition, until recently, Stanley was self-employed as a CPA. Moreover, for many years, he was Treasurer and an active member of the Rochester Rotary Club, and a member of Northfield Mason Lodge #660.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, 11 AM at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.) Interment at White Haven.
