Rochester: August 19, 2013, at age 94. He is predeceased by his wife, Margaret (Robinson) Peasley. Survived by his brothers, Tom Peasley, George (Jean) Satter; son, James (Alma) Robinson; grandchildren, Mark, Chris (Janet), Dave (Pam) Robinson; great-grandchildren, Heather, Alyssa, Laura and Matthew; several nieces and nephews; Renay (Steve) McNally and Patricia (Edward) Raynor; and many friends. Bill served in the U.S. Army-Air Force in WW II, was a veteran of Foreign Wars, Past Commander VFW Patchen-Briggs Post, Liederkranz Club, Moose Club, 40/8 Club, Disabled American Veterans.
Bill also went on the WW II Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. in 2010. He made many trips to visit the Veterans at the hospital. Bill was a Bartender at many places. He enjoyed dining and travel with family and friends. Bill was liked by everyone that he came in contact with.
Friends may call Wednesday 4-8 at the Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd. (Between English and Latta). Funeral Service 10AM Thursday at the Funeral Home. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Rochester General Hospital at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center.
