Dominic Cologgi Obituary
Gates: Monday, June 3, 2013, at age 83. Predeceased by his father and mother, Egidio and Anna Cologgi; brothers, Thomas, Joseph and Giulio Cologgi; sister, Irma Galante. He is survived by the mother of his children, Madeline Cologgi; his children, Cheryl (Scott) McVie of FL, Josephine (Fred) Berndl, MaryAnn (Roger) Adkins, Frances Cologgi, Anthony Cologgi, Adeline (Rich) Mason of FL, William (Kelly) Cologgi; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Patricia Cologgi, Viola Cucinotti; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Cologgi was a retiree of the Gates Highway Dept. and an Army Veteran of the Korean War, where re received the Purple Heart.
Friends may call THURSDAY from 4:00-7:30PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates, where his funeral services will follow at 7:30PM. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Gates Ambulance,1600 Buffalo Rd., Rochester, NY 14624 in his memory. Dominic's family would like to thank Gates Ambulance, and Unity Hospital Emergency Dept. and ICU for their loving and compassionate care.

My nephew told me my brothers and myself left a mark on him and his cousins.We just passed down the mark our uncles left on us. God Bless you Uncle Dom. You will be missed. He brings an end to an era.
