After bravely fighting breast cancer for over 2 years, our happy, determined, head-strong, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Beth (Haddad) Cotsonis lost her battle on July 10, 2014. Beth was the daughter of Ralph T. Haddad and Rebecca A. Haddad, born on November 8, 1975, in Denver, CO. She attended Aurora Central High School where she played volleyball and basketball. She earned her BA in Psychology at Colorado State University and her MA in Counseling at the University of Phoenix. In 2002, Beth moved to Nevada and worked as a high school guidance school counselor. She touched and changed the lives of many high school students. Beth was an avid sports fan, including the Denver Broncos and the St. Louis Cardinals. Beth was known for her strong love of everything Disney, especially Snow White. Beth is survived by her family in Carson City, NV, including her beloved husband, George Cotsonis, their two children Ella (7) and Demitri (5), and two step-daughters, Athena (19) and Alexandria (17). Her parents and brother (Tim Haddad) reside in Aurora, CO and sister (Mindi Haddad) resides in Denver, CO. Beth will be forever remembered as a loving, caring, devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. A celebration of Beth's life took place Saturday, July, 19th in Carson City, NV, and a hometown celebration will be held on Saturday, August 9th from 2-4p.m. at Aurora Central High School (Commons) at 11700 E. 11th Ave., Aurora, CO.
