Curtis Joseph Gilmore

1933 - 2013 Obituary Condolences
Survived by his wife, Jane Anne, three daughters, nine grandchildren, and brother. Born in Colorado Springs and a graduate of Lakewood High School (LHS), Curtis attended the University of Texas and Colorado School of Mines, served in the Army, and spent his career as a petroleum engineer. He was active in the community, serving as a member of SPAC and citizen groups of Jefferson County Public Schools, board member of Jefferson Foundation and Wheat Ridge 2020, past president of Wheat Ridge Rotary, and president of Wheat Ridge Community Foundation. A Celebration of the Life of Curtis Gilmore will be held on Sept. 7, 2013, 2:00 pm. at Lakewood High School's auditorium, 9700 W. 8th Ave, Lakewood, CO. Contributions in memory of Curtis may be made to the Wheat Ridge Community Foundation (WRCF) in support of the LHS Class of '51 Scholarship or WRCF scholarships, 4005 Kipling St., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
