George H. Bush, 89, of Greeley, CO passed away March 24, 2013 at Hospice of Northern Colorado. He was born February 18, 1924 to Frank H. and Mary Elizabeth (Bucy) Bush in Maxwell, NM. George grew up in Prospect Valley and graduated from Prospect Valley High School. On January 24, 1946 he married Elsie Erker in Keenesburg, CO. George grew up farming and started a new career in banking in 1970. He was a man of strong faith was dedicated to and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Evans Senior Center and a lifetime member of Brighton Elks Lodge. He is survived by his daughter, Beverly (John) Wehrman of LaSalle, CO; sons, Bob (Lil) Bush of Greenwood Village, CO, Ron (Kathy) Bush of Frisco, TX; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Ferraro of Denver, CO; special friend, Mary Scheel of Greeley; numerous nieces; nephews; and cousins. George was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie; his parents; brothers and sisters. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 and Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 all at Adamson Chapel. Interment will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Elmwood Cemetery in Brighton, CO.
