Thomas Kesterke - 83 years - Passed away, January 12, 2013. He was born in Cripple Creek, Colorado on September 1, 1929. He is survived by his wife, Sara Jane Kesterke of Thornton, Colorado, Daughters, Debra Bagley (Michael), Garnette Hardesty (Roger), Sons, Thomas (Terri), Robert (Colleen), 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Tom served in the US Army during the Korean war. He married his beloved wife, Sara, in 1951, in Chicago, Illinois. After the service he took a job at the Chicago Tribune Newspaper until 1966 when he transferred to the Colorado Denver Post Newspaper. He later took a job at the Rocky Mountain Newspaper until he retired in 1991. After his retirement, Tom and Sara moved to Springhill, Florida, and later to Cole Camp, Missouri. A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Avenue, Denver, Colorado on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. The family would like to invite Tom's friends to a reception following the service.
