Jim, 70, passed away October 29 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Per his wishes, there will be no services.

James Wendell Rodine, the son of Kenneth and Edna (Higdon) Rodine, was born August 10, 1943 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a graduate of Johnston High School and served in the U.S. Navy. Jim owned and operated Rodine Construction for many years. He was an avid bicyclist.

Jim is remembered by his wife, Connie; his daughters: Pam (James) Calkins, Sandra Jaques, and Susan Rodine; grandchildren: Wynter, Jimmy, Samantha, Sara Beth, and Katelynn; and his lifelong friend, Denny Elwell.
