Lloyd C. Pace, 87, died from Parkinson's complications April 11, at the CO State Veteran's Home. Visitation will be held at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home from 12 to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, April 27, with graveside rites 2 p.m. at Webb Cemetery, then memorial services at Norwalk Christian Church at 3 p.m. with Rev. Dayna Kinkade presiding. Lloyd was born in rural Orient/Zion, attended North High School, served in the US Coast Guard during WWII, a retiree of Continental Western Insurance as AVP and Director of Education. His other affiliations include adult instruction at Drake University, organizer/VP of Northwest Toastmasters Urbandale, advisor/board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters, President of the IA Chapter of CPCU, appointee to IA Insurance Commissioner's Committee for Continuing Education, Pres of the IA Chapter of UOA, volunteer for Dept of Veteran's Affairs, and supporter to American Legion, VFW and the DAV. Survivors include two brothers, Paul (Des Moines) and Cecil (Janesville, WI), daughter Kim (Aurora, CO), son and daughters-in-law, Clark and Barb Duncan (Bella Vista, AR), nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
