1959 ~ 2012
David Wilson Lundberg died peacefully in his sleep on 29 December 2012.
He was born to Leo Lathum Lundberg, Sr., and Gladys Edith Furse Lundberg on Dec. 11, 1959. He grew up in Sandy and graduated from Jordan High School. He was a police officer and detective for the Sandy City Police Department, and later started his own detective agency. He was consulted by the local and national media for his opinion on cases in the news, and was a popular speaker. He will be remembered for his wit, sense of humor and his compassionate sensitivity in reaching out to the many that he visited and helped. He married Ann Hansen, later divorced, and Michelle Babcock, later divorced.
He is survived by his stepdaughter Madison, his son Caden, his siblings: Pearl Toni Hepner, Ann Robinson (George), Lynne Nelson (Bob), Leo Lundberg Jr., (Martha), Steven Lundberg (Kathy), Jerry Lundberg (Connie), Polly Gregson (Dave). His parents and brother Richard preceded him in passing.
Friends may express condolences to his family on Saturday, January 5th, 2013 at the Willow Canyon 2nd Ward house, 1880 East 9800 South Sandy, Utah, from 10:30 a.m to 11:15 a.m. Services will begin at 11:30.
