Michael Irvin Wood died peacefully at his home May 4, 2014. He proudly served his country as a Marine in the Vietnam War, Tet offensive. He was a member of the LDS Church. His favorite person in the world was grandson, Izac who he loved to spoil. Mike was a good friend and neighbor to all. We were blessed to call him dad. "Dad we love and miss you. Until we meet again. See you on the other side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alberta Trujillo and Glen Wood. Survived by 4 children, Nikki Wood, Ray Hale (aka Mikey), Amber (Scott) Dubbleman, and Regi (Annie) Wood; one grandchild, Izac Dubbleman; brother, Glen Wood; sisters, Pat and Lisa; many nieces and nephews; and the hound, Rufus.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, where a viewing will be held Tuesday 10-10:45 a.m. Interment: Utah Veterans Memorial Park. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
