Goodwin Alan D. Goodwin, aged 57, of Clarkston, GA (Altanta), passed away April 30, 2014 after courageously battling cancer. He was born October 12, 1956, in Columbus, OH, to Albert W. Goodwin and Juanita R. Goodwin. Graduate of The Ohio State University, College of Agriculture, he applied his upbringing, education, talents, passions, and good nature to enrich the lives of the many he touched. Co-founded Cut Flowers Whole Sale, Inc. in Atlanta. In recent years he was involved in the antiques business. He is preceeded in death by his brother Gary Goodwin. He is survived by his parents; his long-time partner, Henry Griesbach; his brothers, Steve (Marguerite), Dana (Ann); sister, Kathie (Jay Reed); and nephews, David (Jennifer), Matthew (Courtney), Mitchell Leiendecker; nieces, Melissa (Samuel Soza), Bethany Goodwin, Erin Leiendecker and Kelly Leiendecker; four great nephews and two great nieces. A private service will be held for the immediate family.
