Jones Barbara Anne Jones (Mallernee), 60, of Worthington, Ohio, passed away late November 20, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio. Barb was born November 5, 1953 in Canton, Ohio, raised in Barnesville, Ohio. Barb was part of the Barnesville High School Class of '71, and graduated with a degree in music education from The Ohio State University. Barb played flute in the Westerville Symphony Orchestra and reached countless young people through her love of life and of music as a director at the Colonial Hills Care After School Program and as a music teacher in the Olentangy Local School District until 2008. Her parents Robert and Polly Mallernee precede her in death, as well as her father-in-law Gerald Jones. Barb is survived by her loving husband, Greg; her three daughters, Heidi Beck (Ryan), Rachel Prediger (Wesley), and Hayley Jones; by her sisters, Nancy Wells (Richard) and Joan Samuels (Rick); brother-in-law, Gerald Jones (Ann); and mother-in-law, Rosemary Jones; as well as by her grandchildren, Ella and Lucy; along with nieces and nephews, Richard Wells, Gabe Wells, Kelly Jones, Bert Jones, Shannon Baytos and Megan Rice. Visiting hours will be Sunday, November 24 from 2-6 p.m. at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH 43085, where Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 25.
