Wiley Catherine Margaret Wiley, sunrise July 11, 1920 and sunset June 28, 2013, was born in Bellaire, Ohio to James and Velma Wiley. She was affectionately known as "Grandma" to all who knew and loved her. She attended Bellaire Public Schools, later moving to Columbus, Ohio to pursue her education at The Ohio State University where she graduated with a BS in Education/Recreation, received many awards for her educational achievements, and was as devoted educator. She united with Mt. Vernon A.M.E. Church in April, 1956 and was active until her health no longer permitted her to attend. Preceded in death by her parents James and Velma Wiley, daughter Cathy Wiley-Thomas, and devoted friend John Brown. Survived by grandchildren, Melech (Inetta) Wiley, Chana Wiley, Josiah (Devyn) Thomas, Jaron Thomas; a host of devoted grandchildren; special friends, James and Rev. Evelyn Flewellen affectionately known as Daddy J and Mama Di", Ruth Goggan and Mary Emma Milner. Funeral 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Mt. Vernon A. M. E. Church, 1127 Mt. Vernon Ave. Rev. Dr. William S. Wheatley, Officiant. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estates. Arrangements by C. D. WHITE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1217 Mt.
