Callahan Caton E. Callahan, age 30 of Dublin passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 23, 2013 at Riverside Hospital. She was born on October 17, 1983 in Indianapolis, Indiana to David and Margaret "Peggy" (Stanley) Ellwood of Morgantown, West Virginia. Caton moved to the Delaware area in 1990 from Wexford, PA. A graduate of Olentangy High School in 2002, she participated in soccer and Girl Scouts and later attended college at West Virginia and Ohio State University's. With a career in banking, she currently worked as a manager of the Delaware County Bank's Lewis Center branch and had also worked with Chase Bank. She enjoyed a passion for animals, the craft of knitting, and was a fan of all sports. Fun loving and energetic, Caton was an avid fan of Penn State, a fact which she would want to remind her numerous Buckeye friends. She possessed a huge heart and dearly loved her family. She treasured long walks with her husband, spending holidays with her family, as well as her beloved pets. Her baby blue eyes will long be remembered. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Gabriel; her parents; brothers, Gregory Ellwood of Morgantown, WV, Kyle (sister-in-law Nichole) Ellwood of Delaware; grandparents, Florence Ellwood and Rebecca Stanley of Harborcreek, PA; parents-in-law, John and Mary Ann Carlton of Delaware; God children, Ella and Cora Armentrout; aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved pets Gandalf, Autumn, and Weimaraners Rooney and Cali. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the SNYDER-RODMAN FUNERAL CENTER, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Dr, Delaware. Memorial services will be held noon on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church, 6724 Buffalo Rd, Harborcreek, PA 16421. Family and friends are then invited for a meal following the services.
