Custis Charlotte Custis, born February 16, 1957, left us on February 22, 2014. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a BA in History of Art, she carved her own path in careers with OCLC and in advertising in both Chicago and Columbus. Her chief delights were family and friends, horses and cats, music and laughter. She sang with a folk trio, At Wit's End and was an active member of the Columbus Folk Music Society. She was preceded in death by her parents William D. and Charlotte G. (Susan) Custis, brothers Douglas C. and B. Gwynne Custis and a great-nephew Liam D. Reiser. She is survived by her sisters, Catherine M Custis, Monica (William) Eberle and Anne M. Custis; nieces, a nephew and a great-niece and great-nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the WEIR-AREND FUNERAL HOME, 4221 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43214. A private inurnment will follow in spring.
