FOSTER Cheryl Elaine Foster, age 65, went home to be with our Creator and Savior on Tuesday, December 12, 2012 after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Alexander and paternal grandparents Bryant, her loving father Forest Bryant and two brothers Jerrell and Glenn Bryant. Cheryl was an achiever and an innovator. She completed 2 degrees in the School of Business, Ohio State University and studied early education in Italy. She was one of the Founders of the Central Ohio Club, National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs, and was employed as Parent Coordinator of CDC Head Start Agency. She was a member of the Columbus, Ohio Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband, Shannon Foster, Jr.; and a dear son, Khalil Houghlett; mother and step-father, Dr. Jean Alexander (George) White; brother, Darrel Bryant, Harleysville, PA; sister, Marsha (Robin) Lawrence, Laguna Hills, CA and sister-in-law, Betty Pinkney, Columbus, OH. She had agape love for her friends, Alona Edwards, Teletha Jones and Mattie James. She loved her nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012, visitation 11 a.m., Service 12Noon at St. John AME Church, 7700 Crossroads Drive, Columbus, Ohio, (614) 888-0984.
