PARKER Craig M. Parker, age 50, of Canal Winchester, died Monday, April 9, 2012 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Born January 20, 1962 in Columbus to the late Donald R. and Berdetta (Romick) Parker, he was a 1980 graduate of Bishop Hartley High School and attended Ohio State University. He was a sealer for the City of Columbus, Dept. of Public Safety and a member of St. Mary's Church, Groveport. Craig loved to play golf, but his true passion was owning, training and racing standardbred horses. Survived by his wife of 25 years, Lisa G. Parker; daughters, Hannah and Rachel; brothers, Denny (Mary Ellen) Parker, Rodney (Joy) Parker, Shawn (Georgia) Parker; sisters, Debbie (Darrell) Ault and Dawn Lipka; mother-in-law, Teresa Smith; sisters-in-law, Marty McLain, Peggy Smith and Kim (Jeff) Anderson; nieces, nephews; and his beloved dog, Sadie. Preceded in death by brothers Doug Parker and Pat Parker and father-in-law William Smith. Friends may visit 4-7:30 p.m. Friday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where a memorial service will follow at 7:30 p.m. with Fr. Mike Watson officiating.
