Gallagher David Perry Gallagher, age 67 of Nelsonville, formerly of Worthington passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born November 5, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio. David was a US Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated the NAPA Auto Parts store in Plain City for 22 years and retired to Nelsonville to farm and raise black angus cattle. Preceded in death by parents Donald Perry and Agnes M. (Foster) Gallagher, brothers Donald Gallagher James Gallagher. Survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Dianne (Maibaum) Gallagher; daughter, Lisa (Jon) Gallagher-Hall; sons, David Gallagher Jr., Adam Gallagher, Bryan Gallagher; seven grandchildren, Kacy, Anthony, Erin, Leighann, Mackenzie, Natalie and James; sisters, Doris (Jay) Wilson, Florence (Phil) Earnest; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (Rt. 161W), Plain City, where the Memorial Service will be held immediately following at 4 p.m. with Pastor M.L. Harris officiating.
