Veri Donald D. Veri, age 87, of Upper Arlington, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013, peacefully at his residence. Graduate of The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, former owner of Riverside Golden Bear Pharmacy from 1958-1991. Member of St. John The Baptist Italian Catholic Church, American Italian Golf Association, GAC, and active member of numerous pharmaceutical societies. U.S. Navy Veteran, Pharmacist's Third Mate, WWII. Avid chess lover and player at the UA Senior Center. He loved golf and playing the sport at Riviera. He was a world traveler with his wife to the very end. He was an accomplished reader with a tasteful wit. Preceded in death by parents Camillo and Angeline Veri and his brother Lawrence Veri. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Donna; children, Donnelle (Eddie) Fracasso, Darice Veri (Masayuki Miyajima), Donald (Joanie) Veri and Darienne Veri; grandhildren, Anna (Scott) Sorrell, Kai Miyajima, Camille Veri, Jenna Fracasso, Gabrielle Veri, Nicole Fracasso, Cole Veri, Luke Fraley, Reymond Miyajima, Dominic Fraley, Mia Fraley; and great-granddaughter, Zooey Sorrell; sisters, Amelia Browning and Frances Roscoe; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4-8 p.m., with a GAC Service at 7:30 p.m., and concluding with a Prayer Service at 7:45 p.m. Funeral Mass 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church, 720 Hamlet Street, Columbus, with the Rev.
